A hearty happy new year to all KoS members, both old and new!  Here's hoping that 2003 brings much happiness and prosperity to you and your families.

On the news front, congrats on level 42 to Sapristini!  Also, we've been discussing trying the co-op thing on Gaheris.  It'll be a nice way to see the new Shrouded Isles stuff and try out some new race/class combos without the constant PvP carnage that was the 'Dreds....  If you're interested, pop on over there and look up Frisk (Sap), Alternate (Petes), or Varamyr, Stanys, Manse, Lumbyr, or Toxyk (yes, I've gone a bit lowbie crazy).  I believe I heard that Tal and Sis are making they're way over soon also.

I've found the early leveling easiest in Grove of Domnann (Hib).  There's 4 named guards standing together right at the city gates and they'll give you tasks right up through 10th.  All the mobs are fairly close as well.

knights of seven now belongs to the round table alliance. please visit their site at www.rtalliance.org and say hello to everyone. the alliance has already been a lot of fun, and we have participated in some relic defense battles and legion raids together.

guild meeting

Thanks to all for participation in last night's meeting. We've named our guild 'Masters' for each of the five strategic organizational and administrative areas within the guild and I'd like to announce those appointments now:

Attar, Master At Arms - Attar will be responsible for training and mentoring guildmates (both old and new) in tactics and combat strategies including class specific disciplines and abilities.
Laotzu, Quartermaster - Lao will coordinate the supply of equipment and gold between mains, alternates, and recruits to ensure that all of our guildmates are ready for battle.
Trust, Loremaster - Trust will organize and coordinate guild PvE activity including raids and powerleveling as appropriate. He will also oversee questing and quest support in this role.
Vogrin, Siege Master - Vog will organize guild RvR activity including siege works and strategies.
Tyrion, Master of Conscription - I'll be actively recruiting new guild members and working with them to try and make them feel at home here in KoS.

Please join me in congratulating these guys on their new appointments and please give them your full support as they accomplish these endeavors.

Hello friends! I want to tell you all that I am thrilled to be back home here in KoS. As you may know, Gendal has graciously turned Guild leadership over to me due to his diminished playing time in Albion. Hopefully, we'll have so much fun over the next few months that he'll be forced to spend more time with us.... we certainly don't want someone of his talent helping one of those OTHER realms beat up on us!

But seriously, KoS is all about having fun with friends while playing the game. We're never going to be the biggest guild and with me in charge, we're certainly not going to be the best managed guild either.... What I sincerely think we can become is a close group of friends who have a blast playing together (and are extremely effective when we do). Believe me, I understand that size does matter to some, and if you get an opportunity that you don't feel like you can pass up, then go for it. If it doesn't work out come on back to KoS and we'll go on having fun. That's what it's all about.

As noted by the in game message, we're recruiting again. I think most of you have invite authority so if you know of someone who wants to join, put them in! I'll certainly trust your judgment on that. Also, if you haven't been promoted yet, message me in game and I'll take care of it. Gendal has assumed the position of Knight Commander (the old Guild Captain) and has all the same in game capabilities as I do so he can take care of you as well.

I'd like to 'officially' welcome our new members added this weekend (many are alts, but they count too!): Morningfrost, Ravok, Catania, Jaxsyn, Baryn, Cheq, and the lovely and talented Graceful. And yes, there can be only one Grace! If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry, probably early alzheimer's... Also, a special welcome back to the incredible Krobar!! We're glad to have all of you.

Gendal remains the webmaster for this page and he and I are going to try to keep the content updated. Also, I'm going to go through the forums and try to get them spruced up. Please feel free to use them again.
