Talon
Talon was a Ghost-Faced Killer, a type of rogue with ninja-like abilities. Of Zakharan descent, he had a terrible childhood and adolescence, being enslaved by barbarians in the Haunted Lands for over 6 years. During this time he began his training. At the age of 18 he travelled to Secomber and heard of the exploits of White Owl. Inspired by these tales he became a vigilante in the same mould. His first act was to kill Pockmark Hwang, the monk crony of Azal who had been "helping" members of the Silver Knot. He later adventured with Snake Charmer, The Dreamer and The Spider, helping them to rescue two children with wild talents who had been kidnapped by an agent of Azal. Azal intended to use them in a ritual which would transfer their spirit into a technomagical construct artefact called the Final Answer.
Talon's career as a vigilante was sadly cut short when he was carrying out a covert op with Snake Charmer and the Sohei called Monkfish. Whilst trying to spy on the roof of Azal's emporium on Red Lantern Street, he alerted Azal's guards. In the ensuing melee he triggered a trap on the roof which sent him hurtling down a shaft onto a blade. He was killed almost instantly. On the bright side, he did at least get to meet his hero White Owl before he died.
