Crazy Quilt's Crystal Ball
In 1519, Cortes arrived in the Aztec Empire. This was the "accepted" date of Quetzalcoatl's return, but in truth Quetzalcoatl never specified when he would return to the world of men.
An ancient Aztec artifact passed down within a family of cultists for generations. Mystery and darkness enshroud the cult that claims this powerful artifact as their totem. For the cultists believed that Quetzalcoatl's return would be heralded by the birth of a child who would be immune to the corruption of evil gods. This was foretold by an Aztec priest using the crystal ball, and the ball was forever linked with the birth of this child. Amongst the cultists, finding the child became the sole purpose for continuing the fight against otherworldy forces of corruption.
Power: Any Hex used to look into the future never suffers backlash when the Huckster uses the ball as a focus (the difficulty of the Hex is increased by 2).
Taint: Anyone who successfully uses the crystal ball receives the Yearnin': Find Child of Quetzalcoatl hindrance at a 5 point level.
