EDGE - DEED

At the end of every month, secretly roll the owner's relevant ability (chips can't be spent). The Target Number is based on the level of the edge: one = TN 5, two = TN 7, and so on. If the TN is met, the business receives it's regular income, listed according to level. Failing the roll reduces the income by 40%, and botching reduces the income by 80%. If a character with Bad Luck owns a business and the roll botches, reduce income by 90%. Getting raises to this roll will increase income by 10% per raise. If any business ever gets 3 failures in a row, the business will die. The Marshal is free to mdify the TN of the roll based on the PC's presence and/or level of activity with the business.

EDGE - GRIM SERVANT O' DEATH

Basically, I secretly roll a single dice of the character's Spirit against a Target Number of 5. If I meet or exceed 5, then an "accident" will occur during the next session. I mark this down on the same sheet that I mark everyone's chips on and I plan for the accident before our next session. Whether the accident occurs to the PCs or not is really based on whether or not there have been any combats recently.

GRIT

There is no maximum number of points of Grit that a character can have. However, at certain levels of Grit, the character's interaction with manitou becomes more intense.
Grit Effects
One +1 Guts checks
Two +2 Guts checks
Three +3 Guts checks; abominations can "sense" the character if she is within 10 yards
Four +4 Guts checks; the manitou create a minor abomination (or send an existing one) to kill the character
Five +5 Guts checks; the Los Diablos stampede
Six +6 Guts checks; the manitou create an abomination to kill the character with abilities that can compromise the character
Seven +7 Guts checks; Stone arrives

NEW MIRACLE - SHADOWS OF DARKNESS

If the fear level is 5 or higher, then the player sees a white chip. If the fear level is 3 or 4, then the player sees a red chip. And show the player a blue chip for anything fear level below 3.
