Besides myself, the rest of the house includes Rachael Huffman, Heather Booth, Angie Lucas, Val Smercina, and Jenny Pfanner. We all come from different backgrounds, but we came together for this one common bond. We felt that there needed to be a house for females on campas where they can feel safe. We also thought that it would be a good way to help out the campus, as well as the community, and talk about our faith as well.
We have done a lot of different things this year. We are trying to make our campus a better place for everyone. We've thrown parties and held bible studies. The year is only half over, and who knows what we have instore after Christmas break.
We are living next door to the H.O.G.S. (house of God's servent) House next year. This house is the male version of the F.R.O.G.S. House. We have sponsered different programs which have involved the two houses. It's an awesome opportunity for us to get together and help out. Plus it's helpful since it's not just one gender specific. We are able to reach more people through these projects. Hopefully, through the two houses, we will be able to help a lot of people and help them grow in their faith if that is what they choose.
Throughout the year, I will be updating this page with pictures and other updates. If you are interested in knowing more about this house, feel free to contact me or post a message in my guest book.
Here are a couple of pictures that were taken at our facilty advisor's house. We were having a blast celebrating the holiday season and taking a break from studying for finals.
