Well I would have to say that I may never be able to fully understand
what people have against telemarketers...
Sure we always see to call at the most
inopportune times but really
itsn't not our fault that you hate your credit card company or that
your intrest is too high. That really doesn't concern us and we
honestly don't care whether or not you like your credit card company
and whether or not you want to buy what we are selling you!
If you haven't noticed by the first
statment...I am a TELEMARKETER!
Sure I don't always like my job...but I cannot think of another job
where I would make as good of money as I do for sitting on my rear all
day...talking on the phone. Take a moment to just ponder that. Do you
do hard labor and are making just over min. wage?! Well that is just
dumb...unless of course...sitting in a chair...talking to people and
getting paid to do it doesn't sound easy...then keep your current
job...I won't stop you! :0)
I cannot say that I ENJOY
telemarketers but I am nice to them. Sure it
may be because I know how they feel or that they are actually real
people...don't hang up on us...just kindly let us know RIGHT AWAY that
you are not interested...and if the calls really bother you NICELY ASK
to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!! Its that simple folks. We cannot
jump though the phone and put a gun to your head to MAKE you buy what
we are trying to sell you.
Having a credit card and putting your
REAL PHONE NUMBER on the
application just guarentees the fact that you will get called. Take it
from a telemarketer...don't give the credit card company your cell
phone number (or home/work phone number) and ask us how we got your
number! People actually do that....HELLO - were you born on a stupid
stick or what?!
I don't mean to sound crabby...I am
just stating the obvious!
Telemarketers don't bite - unless you ask us too and we don't jump
through the phone-lines [unless of course we want to see you!!! :)]

BE NICE TO THE PERSON ON THE END OF THE PHONE LINE - THEY ARE
HUMAN
TOO!
