What is Adobe Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop is a graphic editing application developed by Adobe Systems. This is used by many people in enhancing or improving pictures at its finest.

Here are its parts: Now, you couldn't use the Adobe Photoshop without its tools, but before we name them, we'll classify them according to its functions:

Alteration Tools- these are tools used in altering or editing the images.

• Healing Brush Tool- corrects the blemishes
• Brush Tool- paints the canvass with different brush strokes
• Eraser- erases with different strokes
• History Brush Tool- paints from a past image history
• Clone Stamp Tool- duplicates a part of the image
• Paint Bucket Tool- fills a certain part with a color

Selection Tools- these are tools used in selecting portions of images.

• Marquee Tools- used to form a selection with a shape
• Move Tool- used to move a selection throughout a layer
• Quick Selection/Magic wand Tool- selects parts with the same color
• Lasso Tools- makes freeform or straight-edged selections
• Crop Tool- crops an image
• Eyedropper Tool- selects a certain color

Assisting Tools- these are tools used in assisting other tools

• Hand Tool- moves a zoomed in picture
• Zoom Tool- magnifies a picture

Vector Tools- are tools used to make paths around an image.

• Pen Tool- creates paths with vectors
• Text Tool- creates texts in the canvass
• Path Selection Tool- selects a path around a canvass
• Shape Tool- create a certain shape in the canvass
