When you go out driving, no matter how short
the trip
You canıt always expect that all will go
right
There are many parts to your car that could
malfunction
And if that is to happen you have to be
ready and know what to do
If a front tire blows
out, your car will pull toward
The direction of
the tire that is deflated
So you must pull
against the way that your car is pulling
Especially if it
is into oncoming traffic
If the tire is in the back, your car might
then fishtail
You steer back and forth against the pull
of the car
Then you find a safe place to pull off of
the roadway
With your emergency flashers on as you drive
When your brakes fail, pump the brake pedal
hard and
Shift down to the lowers gear; put on your
Parking brake and keep it ready to release
And again pull off into a safe place
*When you go out in a vehicle, no matter
how short your trip is
You canıt always expect that everything
will work right
There are many parts to your car that could
malfunction
And you need to know what to do when this
happens
When a tire blows out, steer the direction
your front isnıt
When you brakes fail totally, use your parking
brake to stop
When your steering stops working. stop moving
fast and safely
And when the hood flies up, use the crack
to look through
If suddenly you find
that you can no longer steer
Use your horn and
flashers to let others know
Stop as quickly
and safely as you possibly can
But make sure that you donıt use your brake
pedal!
Just let the car decelerate and use your
parking brake
But stay prepared to release it at any time
And there is one last thing that you really
also should do
Shift down to one of your carıs lower gears
When the hood flies up, look through the
crack below it
If you canıt see, roll down your window
And look in the direction that youıre driving
Communicate, slow down, and pull off safely
