This site is created by the students of 9th
batch of Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) which started this prestigious
5-year course of MBBS on 21st Aug 2005. KNINE, therefore represents
the 9th batch of KMC: the students, their aspirations, their commitments
to make this world a better place to live in for themselves and
their fellow human beings and the batch, as an institution in
itself, stands upright in its endeavour to prove to one and all,
that the field of medicine still remains the one that signifies
such values as dignity, honesty and service regardless of the
change of times and attitudes. It is our belief that this site
is going to meet the requirements of our times to keep ourselves
abreast of the various medical breakthroughs occurring every other
second!
This is a site in which you will not only get
to know the students of the 9th batch but will also be able to
develop contacts with them through the various technologies of
our times and to discuss with them the various medical problems
that challenge our profession in the current context. It is our
belief that this concept of discussion through the internet is
going to put you and us ahead of the ones bereft of this opportunity.
So we request you to use this privilege to the optimum.
The aim
of this web site is clear and simple. This is a platform for the
students to share their ideas and opinions, their knowledge and
their talents. You can therefore, as a student of KMC or otherwise,
start a discussion, post replies and articles, help us to improve
the site by sending us feedbacks, be abreast with the latest in
the medical field through the medical news and of course, help
yourself to a bit of laughter in our fun centre.
