กรมทรัพยากรธรณีและรัฐบาลพยายามแก้ไข พ.ร.บ.แร่ เพื่อเอื้อประโยชน์ให้เหมืองแร่โปแตช โดยริดรอนสิทธิในที่ดินของคนไทย และเอื้อประโยชน์อื่นๆ ต่อเหมืองแร่ ทำให้ประเทศไทยเสียผลประโยชน์
The Mineral Resources Department wants to amend the bill to help the potash mining business althought the amendment will violate the citezens' property right and will cause damages on the environment.
