The end result, what will be two side panels and the bottom of the canoe. Note: butt blocks are on floor in front of some panels. Click on image for larger picture.
Here I am measuring where to cut the butt blocks for the ...butt joint. I don't know why I find that funny,  but I do.
It's hard to find good help these days. This poor fellow has been worked so hard he has fallen asleep. Right in the middle of cutting with the jigsaw! I say management should supply free coffee to improve production.

Well, he's the handiest guy to have around. He's like the manager of Peavey Mart...I'd like to thank Orest for all the help and assistance with this project. It truly wouldn't have happened without him.
This is the arrangment for measuring and cutting two 4X8 pieces of plywood. It worked very well. I guess a guy could do this on the floor, too. (Might be hard to cut with a jigsaw though...)

Look what's on the top shelf at the back. (Orest collects them if you have any you want to get rid of.)
