This is going to be a truly exciting year for the 4th District.

Whether you are new to PTA or a returning volunteer, I welcome you and appreciate your commitment. National PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States and is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children. With good leadership and dedicated members we have been able to build a team that is nearly 340,000 strong in the state of Georgia and over 6 million nation-wide. You are a valuable part of maintaining that number and an important part of the advocacy process.

Leadership training and involvement are all part of what is needed to make an informed, active, and strong PTA. Attend council meetings, district meetings, and workshops. Stay in touch and share information about the wonderful things your PTA is doing. Never hesitate to ask for help. Training and support is offered at the state and local level that will help your local unit succeed and continue the mission put in place in 1897 to put children first.

Thank you for making a difference and working hard to keep the 4th District PTA strong for all our children.

Sincerely,

Kim Lewis
4th District Director
