3/30/01
I told myself i would not let my play hinder my studies. But here i
am waking up at 2:45pm, missing 2 classes and being late for one. Iam
an @$$-hole.
LAB RATS info:
Great show. We were tight. ... tight like a twelve year old girl. damn
people really liked our act. ohhh yeah!!
Afterwards we had a cast party. dancing to the tunes of the 80s 90s
00s (?) and "mack the knife." And we danced like it was 1999!!!
Around 4am we dispersed to show the world yet another tight show. Yes,
tight like a twelve year old...
芝居は今 中日（なかび） そして 最高潮。
みんな ノリノリだ！ よっしゃ、よぉっしゃ 絶好調ー！！
キャストパーティーが公演後にあった。パーティもノリノリ。明け方まで飲んで 騒いで 踊った。慶応の時のやつも面白かったけど この仲間はより楽しい すっげー良い。特にキャストの中でも良くして貰っている、結構おいしい役なので。特に髪を剃って、さらにまた細工をした後の受けは絶大。小さ役だが演技に全力投球しているから反応が良い。後３公演 やるぜ、やったるぜ。

Opening night at Star Labs, the site of our play "lab rats"
our house was 80 percent full. good for a thursady night.
Our show was great. Actually our acting was top notch, very intense
and entertaining. There were some techinical difficulties at the end,
but the show was excellent, i would say so obviously because i'm in
it.
I was also happy to note that people liked the Dream sequence which
i was in as radiation man. A couple people congradulated me on the scene.
i liked it too.
basically everone were on top of their game, every line, gag were once
again fresh with audiences being present. all in all a good start for
our play. now let us keep the concentration , and even more important
the inesity for four more shows.
「LAB Rats」好評！！
客入りは８割くらい、木曜のソワレ（夜の部）にしてはいいほうじゃないかな。要所要所のジョークも以前にもまして新鮮だった。
僕らのシーンも好評、好評。「よい感じ、」「受けたよ」と言われ、ちょっとよい気分。あと四公演全力で行くぜ～。
芝居などもろもろで最近の生活は２４時間時計です。つまり夜１２時に寝るとか考えていない。寝る時間は無いものだと考えています。朝１じ～５じはお勉強、それから朝の授業 そんな感じ。３０時間毎おきています。でも授業の課題において手を抜くようなことはしない 自分を戒めよう

Todays run-through: i'm glad people liked my Mr. Radiation look. i had
a little makeover... because of this i can not walk the streets with
my head straight. Well, its worth it.

明日 初日！！
一線を超えまてしまった。私の後頭部をおもちゃにしてしまいました。マルコメちゃんルックの上、なぜか髪で印（放射線マーク）を描いてる状態です。笑わないで、マジです。外、歩けません。...友達に剃ってもらった。キャストにせめてもの受けたのが救い。
ほんとは自分でやりたかったので気にならない。というか気に入っている……いや、いません。 そうだLABRATSのBGMの一部、参考に。

INfO:2 days 'till LAB RATS
I turned in my HIS(tory) paper today and finished my AST(ronomy) homework
so im all set academic wise. Set as in completing my work, the quality
in the content of which is highly questionable... Any way now i have
to concentrate on our play. Oh yes, and piano. Iwas able to play the
Brahms Hungarian Danse and the Mozart Sonata fairly well.
My HP counter is not ticking so i will have to something...
What i do not know, ill think of something
the talk of the week for students is the issue of next years housing.
as for me...
I haven't decided yet. Ihave a few options living off campus, living
with a friend in GLC in another time-zone (i would need passports for
entry, really) or a suite recommended by another friend. Hmmm, the choices,
personally i would like to live off campus, we'll see how things turn
out.

INfO:LAB RATS
This week-end from Thursday thru Sunday. We had another run-through
tonight, and the play is funny as hell, really. I know because i was
in the seats a lot waiting my turn. A lot of references to the monkey,
your monkey, ...everyone's monkey. I think it will be very enternaining,
albeit a bit on the longer side for the duration. A must see.
Other than that, i have, or should have finished my paper for HIS172
anout the native americans.

芝居の通し。
LABRATSは結構いけるんじゃないか、今夜の通しでそう思えた。要所要所で笑わせてくれる。ぷぷぷと言うより、ぎゃははと言う感じの笑い。「わっはっは」 「くすっ」 じゃなくて 「ぎゃははははっ」。あー、腹いてぇ。…ま そんな感じです。
出ている時間は短いのですが、キャラつけれるようにしたいです。 目標は田中邦衛、？３枚目だから、いや違う、シブいから、目立たないところで光ってるから、…兎に角よくわからんが、芝居はお面白いものになりそうです。

Lab Rats rehearsal. until 1:45 am. the play is coming along nicely as
well. i am starting to enjoy playing the part of Mr. Radiation Man.
Ha, Haa Mr. Radiation Man from the evil trenches of... the play opens
in less than a week!
ピアノの先生のリサイタルへＧＯ！…っとその前に熱燗を一杯カリフォルニアローリン で。…ヒ、ヒック うぅめ～ は～。ポール、ブライアンがついてきます、そしてピアノ同士のアリエルも。彼らも驚きの演奏。リストのパガニーニ主題エチュードはちょっとした感動。すっげー難しい作品なんだよ、でも完璧に演奏した。さすが先生！
４月には自分のＪｕｒｙ（審査）がある。ブラームスハンガリー舞曲７番、モーザルトソナタ５番、バッハシンフォニアちゃんと弾けるのか？
ＬａｂＲａｔｓ４月公演。いよいよ来週に迫ってまいりました。今朝午前１：４５までリハ－サル。勉強、睡眠時間削っております。今夜の通しはよく出来た。面白くなってきた。自分の役…のひとつＭＲ．ＲａｄｉａｔｉｏｎＭａｎのキャラもだんだん出来てきた。どうでもよいがいま僕の頭は丸坊主です、マルコメちゃん級に達しております。チャオ・ユン・ファット（グリーンデステニー英題"Crouching
Tiger Hidden Dragon"）に似てるとのコメントあり。よっしゃーやるぜ！！なぜか一人盛り上がったりして…

Capoweira at "club night"
A bunch of us went to club night to practice our prowess at capoweira
with club music. Result: possibly a new member.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
9 more days till opening day of our play LAB RATS.i have a small part
in the play. It's rather hard to connect with a character who does not
have much of a significant part in the story. It very hard indeed...
However i will do my best. The play is coming along nicely, and is sure
to get some laughs!

"Nunna daul Tsunyi"

i am currently reading about Native americans. The story of nations is of absurdity. The foundation of the United States of america, founded on enlightened thought was also found on the removal of the indigenous. Similar turn of events were seen elsewhere the aboriginies of Australia, Meso-americans cultures of South america, even the Ainus of my home country.
i dont want to lament on the subject right now for i lack sufficient knowledge on the matter. But what was tragic about the whole discourse was the futile efforts of the various native tribes to accomodate the colonialists. all in vain...land titles were stripped of, treaties were neglected, and forced legislations were implemented. The principle we live with of; "the rule of law." "government of the people, by the people, for the people." "greatest happiness for the greatest number." all seems weakened and full of lies in light of the discourse of the construction of a nation. of any nation or society for that matter.

アメリカインディアンの強制移住の際、特に最後まで抵抗したチェロキー族の旅路を表わした言葉。大して書いていないけど上参照。
黒澤明の「七人の侍」を初めて観た。
映画史上の傑作だと思った。個人的な感想では今まで観た映画の中で順位をつけるとしたら一位。他には「ゴッドファーザーⅠ」、「スタンドｂyミー」、「ショーシャンクの空に」、「博士の異常な愛情」、「グーニーズ」、「男はつらいよシリーズ」、「Scent
of a Woman」、「Dead Poet's society」などなどが好き好きでございますます。

The Japanese Prime minister Mori is set to resign.
Its been a long time coming, but better late than never. Japan has not
had a solid PM for some time. Even the much liked previous PM Obuchi
was pretty shady behind his ever smiling mask. it may be harsh but,
mortaliy dose good to one's image. The legacy of his cabinet were the
initiation of some questionable legislations; "the national anthem/flag
law", "the communication interception law", and the foundations
for a citizen numbering system. I am not clear on what the intentions
were but these are not things to brighten your day, especially when
things are pretty hard. Anyway about PM Mori: an idiot, period. He was
bashed pretty hard for his politically incorrect remarks ( hinting imperialism
among others). The pool of successors don't look to good either,especially
where we to look only within the Liberal Democratic Party, which the
next PM will most likely come from. Anyway the party should take a beating
in the next federal elections due pretty soon. But then again maybe
not, political apathy in japan is so severe that the LDP may walk away
with a cabinet once again, even if they falter a little in the polls.
Voters have been quite silent in japan...
On a brighter note, i watched "pi" a mind tormenting film
about mathematics, and played el futbol.

コンピューターの調子悪し、フォーマットする時が近づく。
もうすぐ森首相が辞任するみたい。こっちのニュースでも大きく出てる。やったね！ 遅いくらい。ここまで嫌われたらねダメだよ。なぜ政治家は外に対しこんなにも愛想が無いのかな、いつも仏頂面で。ウソでもいいから外の選挙民になんかこう「あなた方のために働きますよ」みたいな姿勢はできないのかな。政治の堅い・暗い・汚いイメージ（まず外見、姿勢）から払拭しよう。
後継、誰になるのでしょう？僕は野中さんあたりが怪しいと思うのだが。何度も執拗に否定するあたりが怪しい
・小説三国史において魏国の曹操が息子ソウヒの魏王朝を建てる際に後漢皇帝からの（脅迫による）帝位譲渡を二度にわたり断ったのに似ている...と思ったのは僕だけ？実際政治家はその働きに加え、つくろった体裁も同様に重要なのだ。森氏には中身も無ければ、その外へのアピールも無かった。次に期待、できるか？
兎に角我々は声を高らかに選挙に参加するだけ。政局をもう一度ひっくり返そう。自民党に対しうる有力な第二勢力を育む。いつぞやの小選挙区導入もそのためだったんだし。
あ、そうそう、芝居は順調。ピアノもまーまぁ。コンピュターはだめだめ。

I'm back!!!
Montreal was pretty good. a beautiful city, one might say. how are cities
beautiful? ... the sun was out, gothic churches abound, picturesque
old european style streets, french speakers, beautiful people. Iguess
these things made for montreal being a "beautiful city".I
wrote a lot on my japanese entry. nothing important though, i am just
reminiscing my old days.
カナダより帰国。積雪２フィートと前回書いたけど実際６日ＮＹ北部では４フィート（１メートルくらい）降った。電車止まって途中バスに乗り換え越冬。バスの中でケベックからの団体が“Ａｌｌｅｒ、ａｌｌｅｒ！！”とフランス語で大合唱。しかし周りの冷たい雰囲気を察し、今度は英語に訳して”Ｌｅｔ’ｓ Ｇｏ、Ｌｅｔ’ｓＧｏ～！！”と唄いだした。茶目っ気がある奴らだ。モントリオールでは普通に町を観光して、芝居を見た。モントリオールは大体フランス語だが英語も使える、そしてちょっと怪しいＸＸＸの店もあったりするが、ヨーロッパのような古い町並みも残っていたり面白い町。あと美人多し！
実践！！フランス語会話
...はちょっと厳しかった。優しいモントリオールっ子は私の仏語力の微々たる具合を知るとすかさず英語で話してくれる。
旅行しててこれまた色々思う事があった。
一つ旅行してみるとこれまたいろいろな出会いがある。岐阜から来ていた同じ年齢の女の子は「日本人ってなんて可愛いらしいんだ！」と久しぶりに思わせたり、シカゴに向かう美容師見習１９歳は美人だったし。フランス語で話し掛けてきた老年の退役軍人などうるさかったし。（以上全部電車で、）Ａｍｔｒａｋについてもう一言車掌さん良い感じだ！！気さくで。
芝居は３週間で本番みたい。大丈夫だろうか。小さい役なので気楽なのだが。芝居はＬＡＢＲＡＴＳ。あらすじは：研究所にど素人の研究者が来ていろいろ、なにかと、てきとうに、七転八倒、まーそういう具合になんか起きるわけです。ちなみに私は台本によると引越し屋１、科学者１、そして悪の化身ミスターレイディエイションマンを担当いたします。
久しぶりにＥｒｙｋａｈ Ｂａｄｕを聴く。彼女はＲ＆Ｂの歌姫で、映画”ＢｌｕｅｓＢｒｏｔｈｅｒｓ２０００年”にも出ております。ちょっと昔、好きだった娘と供にライブを聴きに行った事があります。新宿リキッドルーム。は～懐かしい。
いまジュディー＆マりー「散歩道」がステレオから流れています。ちょっと昔、好きでなかったバイト先でずっと流れていました。松戸山崎パン。あ～思い出したくない
