Feb 3rd. 2001. The first Points Score Show for the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Maureen and Kerryn wanted to see as many Anatolians as possible at this event, and so encouraged me to enter Cody. It was his first show, and we were both extremely nervous. The day started off badly, with a flat battery, and so we were running late.... On arrival Cody was a bit over awed by all the dogs, and was very unsure of himself The Judge, an international judge from Canada, looked Cody over, and I was so proud of my little boy, who seemed to be so natural at what he was doing.... Kerryn ( handler) who had never met Cody until that day, was so relaxed and professional. You can not imagine my delight, when Cody not only won his class, but went on to get his first Challenge points towards his title........ Only 93 points to go............... HOORAY |
