T0581 is the type code (see below)
001,001M is the serial number

PLEASE NOTE---When it comes to going by tire sizes, these tractors are 33 years old, a lot can happen to them in that time.  Also, if a customer wanted a different tire size the dealer could have either switched tires from tractors in his stock or ordered and installed different tires.  So if your tractor does not have the "correct" tire size, do not get alarmed, as this only shows how it left the factory.  Thanks.

Note--I have discovered a sales bulletin that shows until approximately November 25 of 1968 that the 1968 typecodes were used, meaning the first few 1969 models may have 1968 typecodes, but they would have all the 1969 model features.
