Competency 008
Competency 008
The teacher provides appropriate instruction that actively engages students in the learning process.

Reflection:
In order for learners to be actively engaged in the learning process, the lessons and activities must be important of stimulating to them. Teachers must be able to create learning opportunities that address issues that the students want to learn and know about. Instruction must be done in a way that the students take ownership of the learning. The lessons should be relevant and have meaning to the learners. Many times students fail to grasp a concept because they are not motivated to learn it. When teachers can make the activities interesting and attention grabbing, the students will be more open to learning. Teachers should also be excited about the information if they want the students to be excited.
