| 04/26/04 The hiatus is over, and the misadventures of Miss Kimmie continue! Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness! So much has happened, so much is going on....where do I start? Mystery Man and I are quasi-seeing each other....which is code for we like each other, but don't want to jinx things with sucky timing, so we are taking the time to get to know each other on a more personal level to see if things could work..... As for Bill, he is long gone - never even had the decency to call and explain himself. No matter - I was tired of his lies, anyway. It seems the man has a major gambling problem, and working so close to a gambling facility only made it worse. Is there anything an addict won't do to ensure his fix and keep the problem a secret? Don't they realize that their lies are so incredibly blatant - almost as blatant as the behavior they are trying to hide? Paul and I got together this weekend for the first time in four months, and it was great to see him again. He truly is a great friend, and I do miss that. Plus, I was able to prove to myself that my romantic feelings for him really, truly, have faded to the point where we can be just friends. Nice! In other news, wrote a love letter to Mystery Man, but didn't have the chutzpah to give it to him....maybe some other time, when I feel the time is right. Will Miss Kimmie give mystery Man the love letter she has written? And who exactly is this Mystery Man - and why has his name not been revealed? And what of Paul? Is Miss Kimmie really over him? | 6/27/04 For all of you who await the next insatallment with bated breath (yes, you, Cindy and Bahij!) here it is- the latest episode of As the Tummy Turns!!! Last we left off, our heroine was quasi-seeing a man who had a girlfriend, but was interested in her and her......assets. Anyway, I did send Mystery Man the love letter, and his girlfriend picked it up - the bitch reads his mail!!! Anyway, he snatched it away just in time...so he says! Didn't call me for two weeks, but when he needed a ride home from a party, who is the first person he calls? Here's a hint: so not his girlfriend! Ugh...I am so over that cad! Paul and I are remaining just friends, and doing a good job of it; although his is upset I keep saying I will go to one of his gigs, and then never show up. I had a legit reason this time - I had a wedding to attend. Not my own, for all who are wondering when I will settle down, the answer is: when I date the right man. Got hit on by a 57 year old at Foxwoods this past weekend - I figured the guy is my parents age, he should be safe enough to dance with, right? Sigh....WRONG! Although he did admit he was too old for me, and asked if my Mom was as pretty as me. Like I am going to answer no to that? We look alike! [Sidebar: This is NOT the "right man".] Anyway, he asked for my number "to call Mom" but asked for me instead when he called...Cindy, stop laughing! This is almost as not as funny as the time the 15 year old answered my personal ad!!! <-- That, is another story altogether! Ask Cindy about it... Well, that's about all for now! Look me up wherever I may be! Friday's on Tuesdays, Twin Oaks on Thursdays, and The Harbourside on Saturdays...at least for now. Schedule may change without notice.
