Results from 2002 SAG and DG awards
Ian McKellen (LOTR's Gandalf) won Best Supporting Actor at this year's Screen Actor's Guild awards. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" was nominated for Best Ensemble Cast, which was won by "Gosford Park." At the Director's Guild awards, held the night before, Peter Jackson was beaten by Ron Howard, director of "A Beautiful Mind." For more information, go to the Official SAG site or Ain't It Cool News

Orlando Bloom to star in "Our Sunshine" - the Ned Kelly story
Although this rumour has yet to be confirmed, it is likely that Orli's next feature film role will be opposite Australian star Heath Ledger in this upcoming film, due to start filming in Victoria, Australia on April 16 2002. Other stars rumoured to be featuring in the film are Drew Barrymore, Rachel Griffiths and Russell Crowe. Gregor Jordan (Two Hands) will direct. more.
