Summer Solstice
Ritual

Cease all sorrows
Ceases all strife
This day is for living
For living this life

Light candle and hold it above your head and say:

Hail lord, hail the sun, hail the light

Sprinkle water from the cauldron on self and say:

Come the lord of the greenwood
Who courts the lady fair
Come our lord in Sun and Light
As we worship you here
We shine in your love and light
Your are life and death anew
Without you there is nothing

Pour the wine with herbs in it on the ground and say:

Now is the time for the giving of gifts
We thank our Gods for the goodness of life
As there must be rain with sun for growth
There must be pain with joy, happiness with strife
Herne and Diana bless us now
We thankyou for the past year
We ask for your love and guidance
For all that we may bear

As the new year approaches
We renew our love to thee
Because love is the law and love is the bond
So mote it be

At this point new years resolutions are made followed by celebration of the past years accomplishments.  Cakes and Ale is then followed by the clearing of the temple.
