Spring is the time of birth and growth
The time to plant a seed within our selves
And nuture it until it flowers
Spring is the time for hopes and desires
For new ideas, for balance and for inspirations

Sit and mediatate and when ready write down what it is you wish to achieve, or change within yourself.  Then light the paper from the altar candle and allow the ashes to fall into the bowl of earth

Lord and Lady, receive these our seeds of hope
Let them germinate in ourselves
Let them grow strong and to fruition

Take the athame and mix the ash into the soil then take the seed and hold onto it for a moment, concentrating energy into it.

We celebrate life by planting this seed
The seed is place in the womb of earth
So it may become part of all of us
As we are one with nature

Place the seed into a small hole in the dirt and cover

These rites of spring belong to us and to the Gods
This is a time of joy and of planting
So mote it be
