Tools and Setting
Performed during the waxing (new moon till full moon) of the moon, as close to the full moon as possible. On the altar is anointing oil and erecting the temple tools. The temple is erected and then:

The Ritual
Sit and kneel before the altar, head bowed and meditate on what becoming wiccan means to you, the Lord and Lady and why you have chosen this path. Then stand and lift both hands high and say:

Lord and Lady hear me now
Be witness to my dedication
That I will alway serve the old ways
And be true to the path
I will love and be because
I am of thee and thee is of me

Lower your arms and say:

I have journeyed long and thought hard
With love I make this speech
I will love all life
Because Love is the Law and Love is the Bond
Please allow me your guidance

Kiss your dominate hand and hold it high, saying:

G* and Gs* (insert dieties name)
I stand before you in your honor
Skyclad as I was born to dedicate myself to you
I accept and will obey the wiccan rede
An it harm none do what thou wilt
So mote it be

Pour the reamining wine onto the ground (libation dish) while saying:

As this wine is spilt
So may the blood of my body be spilt
Should I ever do harm on others or myself

Dip your finger in the anointing oil mark the third eye, pentagram and triangle of power and then say:

I am now reborn
And so shall take a new name
For my life within the craft may I be known as *** (insert chosen name)

Meditate, chant, dance etc. Then raise your hands high and say:

Thank you for your attendance
I am ready to go on my way
On my new path
Love is the Law and Love is the Bond
So mote it be! The temple is now closed
