Indianapolis Zoo:
If it hadn't rained during our stop to Six Flags in St. Louis, I would have had pictures. But since I don't, know this: it rained, we got soaked, and my hat was ruined (you'll see how limp and dirty it is in some of these pictures). We did manage to go on a few rides. Mom and I tried one of the roller coasters and found it quite disappointing when we compared it to the others from the rest of the trip. Oh well. The one water ride Maurice would go on, it shut down for a storm...as soon as we were up next to ride it. So we had to leave, and then 15 minutes later there was a downpour. We ended up getting soaked AGAIN. We did eventually ride the water ride as well as a few smaller things, and then we left.
The Zoo was pretty fun. It rained just a little bit on us, and it was humid throughout the day (frizzy hair), but the clouds kept it from being too unbearable. Even though my hat was shrinking, dirty, and limp, I wore it to protect my poor, pale skin from the sun. Well, more from the UV rays because it was cloudy. We had the chance to pet a mini shark in one part of the zoo, but all of us declined. We took some pictures, but unfortunately none are very good, so there are none here. Enjoy all the other animals instead, eh?
