The graveyard
Close up of Gilbert, the graveyard ghost. He was new this year.
The glow-in-the-dark skeleton in his hand-made coffin.
Psycho bunny makes his presense known again this year.
Wolfy got run over by Clyde. This was Wolfy's last year with us. His head got squished and was irreparable.
Some detail shots of Clyde in his (real) leather jacket, and Wolfy, with his squished head.
Gertrude the dragon, a new addition this year. Here are some shots of how she and her cave were put together.
She breathed out smoke...
...and had lights for "fire" and glowing eyes.
Props for mom's witch costume. The mister was pretty darn awesome. Rat is old.
Lunch was coffin-shaped pb&j sandwiches, snacks were ghosts and pumpkins (candy covered oreos and nutter butters), and dinner was worms with eyeballs, blood, and bones (spaghetti with sauce, meatballs (with olives for pupils), and breadsticks tied at the ends to look like bones). We were supposed to have "weeds" too, but we ran out.
Me and Maurice, lookin' cool
Maurice, with a real sword. He is a fallen angel, a character of his. The trenchcoat is awesome.
Kim, in all her homemade piratey-ness. The hat was from the ren-fest, the jacket from a costume shop, the shirt is handmade, the skirt was from goodwill and started the whole ensemble...
Mom's witch costume, mostly homemade. The dress used to be a bat costume, mom made some bloomers out of cheap shorts, and of course a hat, some tights, and pointy shoes!
Dad on the roof. He wore a cape we had with the new wings I bought for my bat costume (they came with the horns).
