HOMEBEESON FILMONSTAGE MY VIEWJ. WITH
Currently getting ready to star (above title, no joke) in Roundabout's "Tartuffe", this time as the maid, Ms. Smith-Cameron has a full body of work behind her.  She was last seen on stage in Douglas Carter Beane's "Music From a Sparkling Planet" at the Drama Dept.
In 2000 she led the cast of the successful "Fuddy Meers" at
Manhattan Theatre Club.  Prior to that J. gave a hilarious performance as Elmire in "Tartuffe", a part of the Shakespeare in Central Park series.
She played Olivia in the 1999 Broadway revival of "Night Must Fall". 
At the end of 1998, J. did
MTC's new play "The Memory of Water", another work directed by John Tillinger.
In 1997 J. won a well-deserved Obie Award for
Drama Dept's "As Bees in Honey Drown" as Alexa Vere de Vere.  She was also nominated for Outer Critics and Drama Desk Awards.

Films include:  "You Can Count On Me" (the jealous secretary) - (written and directed by her husband, Kenneth Lonergan), "The Rage:  Carrie 2" (the crazy Mom), "Harriet the Spy" (the neglecting Mom), "That Night" (the worried Mom), "84 Charing Cross Road" (the young Mom), "Mighty Aphrodite" (the Mom-to-be), "In and Out" (a caring teacher), "Jeffrey" (the sexual compulsive), "Arresting Gena", "The Proprietor" (the Texan buyer), "Sabrina" (the nosy stewardess),  "Let It Be Me" (the dancing friend), "She Led Two Lives", and a 1979 "Gal Young Un" as the Gal Young Un (all in no particular order).
J. has also guest starred in numerous TV shows, including "Law and Order", "Spin City" and "Homocide", was a series regular (Ramona) on "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd", and did voice-over for
Romance novels.
