In 2000 she led the cast of the successful "Fuddy Meers" at Manhattan Theatre Club. Prior to that J. gave a hilarious performance as Elmire in "Tartuffe", a part of the Shakespeare in Central Park series.
She played Olivia in the 1999 Broadway revival of "Night Must Fall".
At the end of 1998, J. did MTC's new play "The Memory of Water", another work directed by John Tillinger.
In 1997 J. won a well-deserved Obie Award for Drama Dept's "As Bees in Honey Drown" as Alexa Vere de Vere. She was also nominated for Outer Critics and Drama Desk Awards.

J. has also guest starred in numerous TV shows, including "Law and Order", "Spin City" and "Homocide", was a series regular (Ramona) on "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd", and did voice-over for Romance novels.
