| For all you movie fans out there, this page will serve as a little guide to all the movies J. was in and the roles she played. Her first film was GAL YOUNG UN (1979), where she played the title character, aka Elly. You can't miss her in that one. Then followed 84 CHARING CROSS ROAD (1986), where she, Ginny, moves into Helene's building with her new husband, and later has a baby, whom Helene babysits while Ginny goes to the theater (how appropriate). THAT NIGHT (aka ONE HOT SUMMER) (1992) -- Carol Bloom, Ally's mother who can't have any more babies and does not feel loved by her husband. She is seen throughout the movie in that 60's style make-up. JEFFREY! (1995) Sharon, the sexual compulsive. The webmaster's favorite. Can't miss this one either. It comes in between Jeffrey's fantasy with the "cater-waiters" and the scene at Sterling's (Patrick Stewart) apartment. MIGHTY APHRODITE (1995) Bud's wife... Pregnant wife. Talks about being treated like a queen at the restaurant. LET IT BE ME (1995) Clarice. When Gabriel wants to dance with Emily for the first time -- she is one of their friends at the restaurant. Later, in the apartment he briefly dances with her. SABRINA (1995) Carol. The stewardess. She is just curious. Obviously on Linus's private jet. THE FIRST WIVES CLUB (1996) Ms. Sullivan. Bill's (Victor Garber) lawyer. Appears for under two minutes. HARRIET THE SPY (1996) Harriet's neglecting Mom, Mrs. Welsch. Doesn't appear often enough. A MODERN AFFAIR (aka MR. #247) (1996) Sperm bank technician. Need I say more? THE PROPRIETOR (1996) Lady Texan. Webmaster's favorite. In the scene where Adrienne Mark decides to sell her house and paintings. Lady Texan specializes. ARRESTING GENA (1997) Caroline. The webmaster did not see :-( It is generally unavailable. IN AND OUT (1997) Trina Paxton, a teacher. The good guy. She is for Howard. The first time you see her is at the pre-wedding party. Then at school after the revelation, in the teacher's lounge. THE RAGE: CARRIE 2 (1998) Barbara Lang. The mental patient. Rachel's mother. Kenneth Lonergan's YOU CAN COUNT ON ME (2000) Mabel. The jealous office secretary. Watch how she changes the colors on that computer screen... and she says she knows nothing about computers! |
