| Camping Trip #17 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Date: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Location: Algonquin Provincial Park - Canisbay Lake | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Site Number: 174 then 239 Comments: We went with a reservation for Lake of Two Rivers for 4 nights, but decided we wanted to stay for two weeks. We went to Canisbay Lake and asked for an electrical site. We had to get on a first come first serve list, but we got the electrical site the next night. The move was worth it. Events: Moose sightings, Bear sightings, Canoe lessons, Live Theatre, Northern lights, Shooting stars, beautiful weather. The first night, however, it rained very hard. We were only doing a light set up because we were going to move the next day. The awning was up, and the carpet under the awning was out, and eventually was covered by 2-3 inches of water!! We put our sandals on to go out. But we never saw rain again. |
