She doesn't speak a word, not even to give Killer her name, so he called her 'Lady'. One might even assume that she's mute, but later in the game she's proven that she's certainly capable of speaking, just that for some reason she didn't find it relevant to communicate through words.

Like Killer, nothing much is known about Lady, where she came from, what her objectives were.

She met him in Brooklyn, when Killer was gravely injured and chased by the police. She healed him with a malice kiss, giving him powers he normally wouldn't have.
