大阪市外の東、近鉄布施駅周辺部には毎夜30名以上の野宿者（ホームレス、路上生活者、野宿生活者などの言葉がありますが、ここでは野宿者とします）が、
ささやかな休息や睡眠をとるために路傍などで夜を過ごしています。北河内路上通信の有志は、この地域でささやかながら、可能な限り野宿者と共にありなが
ら、助け合いなどを2004年秋から始めました。（もっと以前から状況は見知っていたのですが） …もう既に今日は2005年4月23日で
すから半年以上の時が経ちます。越年期（12月25日くらいから、翌1月4日）には、布施周辺の野宿者の希望により、鍋交流会（12月30日）を大阪キタ
越年越冬闘争実行委員会（大阪キタの野宿者と支援者が毎年越年越冬期に結成し、炊き出し・夜回り・集団野営・医療活動などを行なっています）や学生のバッ
クアップを得て行なうことが出来ました。その後も、越年期には扇町公園テント村や長居公園テント村での集団野営などに参加するなど、各地の大阪市内のテン
ト村群との交流も創って今にいたっています。支援者や支援物資などに事欠かない釜ヶ崎では想像も出来ないことだと思いますが、大阪市内周辺や市外各地の野
宿者の状況はまさに助け合いがあって何とかなるというレベルです。もちろん、追い出しや嫌がらせの類は日常茶飯事で、常にそれらと向き合うことを強いられ
ますし、テントを張ることは言うまでも無く、ベンチすら撤去されたり、破壊されていきます。（ボルトをはずして解体する10代の若者がベンチを破壊して回る。蹴って壊したりせず、工具を持ってシンキクサイ作業をやるのだ。全く理解に苦しむ）こういった厳しい状況ですが、地域からは全くといっていいほ
ど何の支援もありません。かといって自前でやっている有志に出来ることは限られている…そんな無いものづくしの中ですが、皆で知恵を出し
合っています。以下は、そんな府内東部での状況からのささやかな記録です。

to the facts of roadsides in east area of osaka-pref. every
night, there are about 30 homeless persons in front of Kintetsu Fuse
station.(also there are some homeless persons near other
stations/parks.) we try to engage in being with these homeless persons
as much as we can: mutual aid, exchanging other homeless communities,
exchanging various infos...(we have known some homeless persons on
these areas since 1998.) however, we have no supports from any
churches/any donators. further, also we are the working poors...
homeless persons in these areas are harder situation than
Kamagasaki-area's homeless persons: no supporters, no infos about
homeless persons(most of them are economic refugees in these areas not
Kamagasaki or in other areas. some of them in Fuse area are refugees by
Domestic Violence.), less welfare-rights, no soup kitchens, harder
evictions from parks/public spaces, harder harassments by
police/NAZIzen(fascistic citizens), so many salvations by evil
companies for throwing into the little wages & high paying of
terrible HANBA, or terrible shelters provided by Yakuza.
anyway, we must try to being with homeless persons in these areas as
much as we can. we will continue to try to report the situations of
homeless persons in these areas, and also will try to call for the
supports to homeless persons in these areas.
our reports are a parts of situations in
