We are survivors...
our hearts are patchwork quilts,
pieces of beautiful memories
sewn together with the tears
from our souls...
Lives filled with love and laughter
torn by heartbreak and betrayal.
Better to bear the pain of loss
than to never know the joy of love.
Survivors, that is what we are.
Life is not fair,
love does not care.
Both come and go
on the wind...
We shall be here
in the end.
