Health Care and Facts
Life Span: 2-3 years but have been reported up to 5 years.

Bedding: Never use Pine or Cedar. I recommend Carefresh it is biodegradable and recycled. Some people use litter, if you use litter make sure it is a safe litter with out alot of additives such as the clumping factor like scoop away.

Food: Fresh vegetables are a wonderful source of nutients such as Cauliflower and broccoli. Rodent diets are a main staple for the rats, if you do not use a rodent diet then always supply with a lab block and vitamins.

Toys: Rats love toys! Anything that stimulates their little minds. Things such as bird toys, ladders, hammocks, plant pots, they love it!
