Harry and Seven
Introductory Notes : I first thought of this song as J/C (Chakotay being so loyal to Janeway), then J/P (Tom being equally loyal to Janeway- and more the "runner-up inside of you"), but then I saw it listed on Seventh Heaven for K/7 and it *clicked*. Harry's touching loyalty to everyone is one of his most endearing traits, as is his perpetual "runner-up" status. This song is from the "Dawson's Creek" soundtrack. I watch the Creek and then Voyager every Wednesday (it's my big night of television!) and I have come to realize Joey (Katie Holmes' Girl Next Door) and Harry are very alike in temperment and depth of feeling. They're both pathetically unlucky in love and they're both willing to put virtually everyone's needs ahead of their own. The song works for both of them. Harry is Voyager dreamer no matter what happens, and he would "do most anything" for Seven, no questions asked, and expecting nothing in return. That's just the way he is.
