Tom and Kes
Introductory Notes : Tom was enamored of Kes from the beginning, she was something magical, pure, bright and shining. And Kes saw Tom as someon lonely, lost, in need of a friend. They became friends, but cautious ones. Kes was involved with Neelix and Tom wasn't ready for a real relationship anyway. But in a future that never happened, Kes and Tom found solace and love together. Kes helped Tom thru the greatest loss of his life, and thru that moment of compassion the two found a love that reached beyond that one future-that-was and gave Kes something precious to carry with her in the present-that-is. And Tom may never know what he lost that day.
