Could there possibly be another figure in literature whose inane laugh and brainless wit could hold us in such spellbound wonder?

  At present I am compiling a list of books that either mention the Pimpernel or contain a character who is somewhat similar. It is not ready at the moment, but do not lose hope!

  Here is a list of odd things that we have found in the 1982 movie. Please email me with any others you have found or corrections of the ones I have.

One of the sequels to The Scarlet Pimpernel, Eldorado, is up at Gutenberg. Other stories by the Baroness are up at Gaslight. Book descriptions and quite a few of the books are up or in the process of being put up over at Blakeney Manor (which is a really wonderful site on its own).
