Sink me!
Could there possibly be another figure in literature whose inane laugh and brainless wit could hold us in such spellbound wonder?

At present I am compiling a list of books that either mention the Pimpernel or contain a character who is somewhat similar. It is not ready at the moment, but do not lose hope!

  Here is a list of
odd things that we have found in the 1982 movie. Please email me with any others you have found or corrections of the ones I have.

Here is my collection of Baroness Orczy Quotes which I have found funny or inspirational.
Other Sites
The Bookshelf
Here is a Pimpernel story I wrote in the style of Baroness Orczy. Do send me your comments and suggestions!
The Man in Grey
is a lovely story by the Baroness set a few years after the French Revolution...
One of the sequels to The Scarlet Pimpernel, Eldorado, is up at Gutenberg. Other stories by the Baroness are up at Gaslight. Book descriptions and quite a few of the books are up or in the process of being put up over at Blakeney Manor (which is a really wonderful site on its own).

Other Scarlet Pimpernel sites:

Sir Percy's Place
~ there are a few fanfics here, pictures from the books and a chat room--mainly focusing on the Broadway musical.

Chauvelin's Place ~ quite a full site with sounds, links, fanfics and frequent updates.

Anna's Unofficial Pimpernel Homepage
~ With a biography of the Baroness and a list and discription of all the Pimpernel books.

Anagallis Arvensis
~ A picture of the wayside flower.

More information about the flower...
