Big Brothers & Big Sisters Provides children from single-parent families with supportive services, enriching friendships on a one-to-one basis with mature, responsible adults.
Catholic Charities Temporary emergency aid to eligible families and individuals; food, clothing and rent assistance; volunteer-run program for the physically handicapped.
Community Conscience Trustees of the "Under one Roof" Human Services Center.
Conejo Free Clinic Medical and legal services for those who cannot afford private care; medical clinics; WIC screening; immunizations; legal clinics and Family law classes.  Bankruptcy, custody class anonymous HIV testing.
Conejo Youth Employment Service Free job search assistance and referrals for youths ages 14-22; including employment counseling pre-employment skills and training.
Consumer Credit Counselors Free debt counseling and budget lessons; alternative to bankruptcy.
Holy Family Services Provides counseling to birth parents with unplanned pregnancies; family and individual counseling, foster care.  Complete adoption services available.
Hospice of the Conejo Valley A volunteer Hospice providing in-home assistance for the terminally ill and their families through professional case management and volunteer support.  Bereavement group support for children, adults, and seniors.  No fee.
Interface Children Family Services Provides shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, treatment,  and education services to abused children, battered women and their children, youth and families in crisis.
Jewish Federation Agencies Individual, family, and  group counseling information and referral.  Family life and education.
Lutheran Social Services Offers the following programs are available for individuals, couples, and family counseling on a sliding scale.
  • R.E.A.P. Re-Employment Assistance
Helps homeless, chronically unemployed adults find employment.
  • Emergency Assistance
Manna referrals, food, clothing, bus and gas vouchers, prescription assistance for homeless and persons in crisis.
  • Caring Neighbors
Provides minor home repair, light housekeeping, yard work and transportation for seniors or the disabled.
Many Mansions Promotes and provides safe, well-managed housing with on-site life enriching services for limited income residents of Thousand Oaks and the surrounding communities in Ventura County.
Senior Concerns Bargain Boutique Thrift shop revenues benefit Conejo valley Senior Concerns, Fitzgerald House and Meals on Wheels.
Villa Esperanza Services Provides a range of programs that serve diverse disabled population by developing model programs to meet the needs of children and adults with developmental disabilities and venerable at-risk adults and seniors.
   
Government Agencies:  
Social Security Administration Administers retirement, survivor, and disability insurance, benefits, supplemental security income payments.
Correction Services Agency Diversion programs for area youth who have been arrested for minor crimes; information, referral, resources for parents and youth and school regarding criminal justice system.
Public Social Services Offers those in need with provisions of food stamps, Medi-Cal, and general relief.
WIC Nutrition Program Women, Infants, Children Nutrition Program  serves to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.
