Built for Russian American Line, in 1911 and named Kursk. Libau-New York
and later Archangel-New York service. Transferred to the British Government in 1917 and
managed by Cunard Line. Sold to Baltic-America Line, Danish flag, in 1921 and renamed
Polonia. Libau-New York service. Sold to Polish Transatlantic Shipping Company, Polish
flag, in 1930. Gdynia-New York service. Gdynia-Buenos Aires service from 1936. Scrapped in
1939.
