                                                                                Enjoy,

                                                                                Kip and Jessica

I would like to take a moment to air my feelings about what some evil terrorist did to our country.  On September 11, 2001, a group of fanatics highjacked 4 airliners and destroyed the WTC, Pentagon, and crashed another plane load of passengers.   New York's finest, the brave Firefighters, Police Officers, EMT's and civilians risked their lives to save trapped victims inside the burning buildings and when the buildings collapsed, lost their lives.  I have heard people saying how they remember where they were when President Kennedy was shot or seen movies of when the Japanesse bombed Pearl Harbor but until this day I did not know the true meaning of those memories.   I will never forget when I heard of the attacks, driving to work on that Teusday morning listening to Bob and Tom on the radio, walking in the door at work to hear the radio on, the sober faces, my wife already on the phone waiting for me to come in, to tell me two planes just crashed into the WTC.

I will never forget the panic which ran through myself, my family, my company, my country on that fateful day.  The fear that I may be the next to go since I was located at  an airport, next to an Air Force Fighter wing.  For the first time in American History all aircraft were grounded immediately.  People went home from work, my wife went to school to be with my children.  The feeling of total helplessness, wanting to go and help find the victims of this accrocity will forever be with me.  Now our President speaks of how the USA must carry on, to go about our business and that the people responsible will pay.  I still go to work everyday as does everyone else, I see the flags flying, I hear people singing patriotic songs, and I even seen people stand and cheer of the local National Guard units.  I know we will prevail.

When our Military goes out to the call of duty and brings the fires of hell upon the terrorists of the world, my prayers go out to them.  I know they will make me proud.  My cousin Todd in the Army, my cousin Chad in the Navy and my friends when I was in the Navy, I wish you all to come home safe and with victory.  I am proud of you all.
