Hello everyone from Nisha!

I was sixteen during my reign, and now as an adult I sometimes look back and have fond memories of what it was like to KTP. I remember how proud I felt to be Kiowa, and how honored it felt to be chosen to represent our people. I loved the travel and all the friendly faces that I got to meet.

I am now married to a man named Andy Lozano, whom I met in 1997 and married in 1998. We have a house out here in Fort Worth,Texas and a five-year-old son named Alex Lozano who is a little crow of the Ohomah lodge. We have been teaching him to dance and he is well aware that he's Kiowa. I have chosen finance as a profession and I am currently working for a finance company as a branch manager in training.

I miss Oklahoma and I like to visit as often as I can to visit family & friends and I love to see a good pow-wow. Thanks to all of those who helped me through that year and thanks again for the wonderful experience.

Nisha Lozano
