Cheryle Davenport is the daughter of Gladys Komalty and the late Howard Orin Davenport, granddaughter of the late Nellie Ahtone and Paul Lanecaster Komalty, great-granddaughter of the late Tah-ko and Sammual Ahtone, great-granddaughter of Ah-mah-tsa-ah and Komalty. Cheryle is the mother of Candee Kiley, former Aw-Dae-Mah-tone, grandmother of Theresa Lynn Kiley, present Aw-dae-mah-tone and grandmother of twins Ramysee and Gentry Kiley.

In 1965, Cheryle was crowned Kiowa Princess at the Kaulaity's old home place by James Auchiah, who presented her feather to her alongside Tom Littlechief, her Kiowa Director during that time.

Cheryle is a graduate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education and has been a teacher for the past 31 years for the Weatherford Public School system.
