Da onda em chan!
Welcome!

It is a special year representing the Kiowa tribe as tribal princess. My grandmother, Mygauhol (Killed one of High Rank), commissioned Alice Jones Littleman to make my buckskin dress. Alice’s mother, Mrs. Anna Conad helped her daughter with the construction of the dress. I still have that dress. My other grandmother, Mable Hummingbird, (Maunkauguoodle) was my cultural mentor. I have several relatives who have been Kiowa tribal princesses. We didn’t have as many dances during my reign as there are now and the biggest celebrations were held at the Carnegie Park and most of them were for the returning servicemen in the military.

My hobbies and interests are traveling with my family and collecting American Indian art and beadwork. One of the highlights of being a grandmother was traveling with my granddaughter, Marisa Nell when she was the 1999-2000 Kiowa Tribal Princess. We had fun making her clothing, attending events and meeting new people. I thank all my Kiowa mentors for sharing with me when I was Kiowa Tribal Princess. I have used much of that information throughout my life.

Bah au chan!
Please come again!
Ah-Ho
