Tshante
Going Snake Geimausaddle: Tshante is the daughter of Bobbie
Jean Geimausaddle and Eric Lonewolf, the granddaughter of Dave and
Melva (Tinetiah) Geimausaddle, the great-granddaughter of the late
Elvin and Tinetiah and Mattie Tsonetokoy and the late George Geimausaddle,
and the great-great-granddaughter of the late Issac Tsonetokoy, Toshantey
Givens-Redbird, and Jarvis and Tay-yoodle Geimausaddle. She is a direct
descendant of Sitting Bear. Her Kiowa name is Ts-hone-mah (Small Face
Woman), the name of her great-great-grandmother Toshantey Tsonetokoy.
She was an eighteen-year-old graduate of Putnam City High School,
previously spent her sophomore year studying in Weisboden, Germany,
and was employed by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Tshante is a former
Southwest Vietnam Veterans Association Princess. |

Angel
Lomavaya : Angel is the daughter of Rose Lomavaya and the
granddaughter of Alice and Edgar Monetathchi Sr. She is the great-granddaughter
of Rosie Hall Zotigh, Edward Hummingbird, Lucy Whitehorse Beaver,
and Louise Whitehorse Hall. Her great-great-grandparents are Harry
Hall Zotigh, Kau-koe Belle Hall Zotigh, and Maunkaugoodle Mabel Hummingbird.
She is a direct descendent of Setangya. Her Kiowa name is O-Mah (Beautiful
Girl). Angel was a sixteen-year-old sophomore at Elgin High School.
She was a member of the Oklahoma Gourd Dance Club, the Lawton Intertribal
Youth Dancers, the EHS Indian Heritage Club, the EHS Art Club, the
Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, and was a American
Red Cross Code Red Youth Volunteer. Angel was also a participant in
the Close-Up program in Washington DC. She started dancing when she
was three years old, competed for the title of 2000 Jr. Miss Indian
Oklahoma, and held the titles of 1999-2000 Elgin High School Indian
Heritage Club Princess and 1992-1993 Stony Point Indian Club Princess
before running for Kiowa Princess. |

Deidra
Saumty : Deidra was raised by her grandparents, Calvin and
Marjorie Saumty, and is the great-granddaughter of Lucy Saumty and
James Daugomah, and the great-great-granddaughter of Billy Saumty,
Tapmah, and William Daugomah. She is a descendant of Satank. Her Kiowa
name is Zate-Kaw-Bate-Hogei (Takes Away All Their Bows and Arrows),
and she is also of Comanche and Apache lineage. She was a twenty-year-old
sophomore majoring in Elementary Education at the University of Central
Oklahoma where she was worked in the Multicultural Student Services
department as the Native American Student representative and was the
1999-2000 First American Student Association President. Deidra was
a 1998 graduate of Oklahoma City's U.S. Grant High School and served
as the school's Native American Club Secretary, and she also attended
Southeast (OKC) High School and played on the varsity fast and slow
pitch softball teams. She began dancing in the arena when she was
a four-year-old and previously served as the Oklahoma City Powwow
Club Princess and Good Medicine Society Princess. |
