Text Aziz, sire of Champion Mesaoud, also got the great mare Bint Helwa, second dam of Gulnare and Guemura. Aziz was a chestnut Dahman Shahwan bred in Cairo, Egypt, by Ali Pasha Sherif from stock brought to Egypt for the Viceroy, Abbas Pasha 1 (builder of a world famous stud), and imported to England by Wilfrid and Lady Anne Blunt. He was by Harkan by Zobeyni.
