"Okay," she said smiling and turned back to the door. "Come in!" she said and opened the door to the group outside. All except Ami rushed in and inspected the place. Rushing in and out of rooms and checking in closets, under pots, and inside the hanging plants. "Um What are they looking for" she said pretending to naturally not know.
"Well, do you have a guy over?" Ami said.
"No, Why would you think that?" Mako said with a bit of nervous laughter.
"Well, you weren't at school and nothing seems to be burning (and even if it was you'd never admit it) so we simply assumed you have something to hide and Mina brought up and guy and you got all nervous and blushy and-"
"Oh that," Mako cut in. "I was uh wrapping gifts!"
"But, it isn't near anyone's birthday or Christmas."
"There's nobody here," Mina said sounding very defeated.
"See I told you!"
"So, do you wanna go to the arcade?" Bunny asked.
"I have homework, so I'll see you guys later," Ami said.
"Sure let's go!" Mako said and as they left she looked back and wondered how he had escaped so quickly.
The girls headed toward the arcade as usual, but Mako's mind was on Kura. He was really cute, she thought. His eyes remind me of my old boyfriend's and so does his voice... and his hair... but he's still different somehow, much different. Silver... what a weird hair color. She continued to daydream and blushed as she thought about the three wonderful days they had spent together.
"Hello! Earth to Mako!" Bunny yelled.
"It has to be daydreaming about a boy! Who?" Mina asked inquisitively.
"N nobody, there is no guy! Jeez is that all you guys think about?" Suddenly, out of an alley in front of them Kura ran across at blinding speed followed by a dark blue, brown, black, and grey suited buisnessmen. "K Kura!" Mako said as she burst through the others and ran after him.
"I knew there was a guy!" Mina said as the others followed Mako. They followed Kura through the streets until Kura became trapped in a dead end alley.
"I believe it would be best for you to surrender," the grey-suited businessmen said.
"So you followed me here! I'm afraid I can't go with you gents because I have someone I care about here!"
"The punishment is death!" the businessman dressed in grey said said.
"Kura!" Mako yelled from behind the businessmen.
"The Sailor Soldiers?" thw blue-suited one shouted.
"What?" Kura said looking at Mako with a look of shock.
"Huh?" Mako said. How do they know who we are?
"We'll see you again Kurarei!"
"You're one of the Sailor Soldiers?" Kura asked.
"Yeah," Mako sighed, "I'm Sailor Jupiter of the Sailor Soldiers" she paused, "Who's Kurarei?"
"That's what those guys keep calling me."
"Who are they?"
"They want something called a Shadow Stone from me and I have no idea what they're talking about." Kura said.
"I see so the Enemy is at it again after two years!" Mako said sternly.
"The Enemy?" Rei and Mina said in unison.
"Apparently," Mako said.
"Th the en huff enemy huff again?" Bunny panted as she rounded the bend.
"No, I don't you guys in on this!"
"Why not?" Mako said sounding very hurt.
"These guys are dangerous, they nearly killed me and I have no idea why I was saved."
"Well, we'll find out!" Usagi said standing up and raising her arm into the air in a triumphant pose.
"Wait!" Kura said staring at Usagi's face.
"What?" Bunny said looking shocked, "Do I have something on my face?"
"You're the one who saved me."
"Huh? I haven't ever seen you before!"
"You said that staying alive would make someone happy!" Kura said emphatically. "You were wearing a white dress and brought me here! It was a rough trip, but better than dyeing."
"A white dress?" Rei said, "That's what Queen Serenity wore."
"My future self?" bunny said slowly.
"Future self? You can time travel?" Kura said.
"If needed!" Mina said, "Now will you let us help you?"
"I'm not sure even time travel will solve my problems!"
"Well... Who are these guys that are after you?" Mako said.
"Members of the Universal Peace Force, although their methods are somewhat less than peaceful."
"Peace Force, are you a criminal?" Rei said.
"That's why I don't want the help of Sailor Soldiers! It would only get more complicated!"
"I don't care!" Mako sobbed, almost in tears after what she had heard, "If they're supposed to work with us then why did they run away?"
"And why have we never heard of them?" Rei said.
