| Later that night in Mako's apartment at the first Sailor Soldier meeting in two years they gathered to discuss this new threat. "So why are they after you?" Ami said. "They say I have some kind of stone with me, but I have no idea what they're talking about," Kura said. "I think you're the bad one here," Haruka said. "You do give off an intense aura," Mamoru said. "An evil one!" "Not really evil," Luna said calmly. "That's right," Artemis chimed in. "It is a neutral aura, one of great conflict," Setsuna said. "I admit I have my dark side, but I swear I am not in the wrong here!" "Fine we'll settle this with a duel!" Haruka replied. "No need to resort to violence!" Luna shouted. "We're not here to fight!" Mamoru said calmly. "No," Kura said suddenly, "I accept the duel let's go outside." They gathered in an alley near Mako's apartment building and began preparing for the duel. "Kura�" Mako said shyly, "if you have any feelings at all about me, please stop this." "I can't� Haruka only accepts decision by force, reminds me of an old friend," and then he stepped forward and kissed her. "Let that be your decision on whether or not I'm good or evil� Are you ready Haruka?" |
| "Yes!" Haruka yelled, "Uranus Crystal Power, Make Up!" and then she became Sailor Uranus with the space sword ready. Kura drew his silver katana and prepared for battle. Kura made the first move dashing forward at incredible speed. It was so fast that Mamoru was the only one besides Haruka who could see him. Despite being far slower Haruka managed to fend of Kura's barrage of sword slices. How can he be this fast? She thought desperately. Unexpectedly he backed off after the first wave. She decided it was better that she made the first move. She rushed forward right, left, thrust! He seemed to disappear at each swing. He made no counterattack, but kept dodging her attacks with apparent ease. Then suddenly in the midst of her attack he struck and her swift dodge couldn't take all the force and she was knocked back a few steps. Then unexpectedly he hurled his sword like a javelin and began a mad dash behind it. She knocked the sword to the right and then was left completely defenseless as he grabbed her right wrist and snatched her tiara from her forehead. Then before she knew it he was back to his sword sheathing it and readying for her next attack. He kept up with his own throw? Who is this guy? "I'll get my tiara back! You can count on it! Space Sword Buster!" as she launched the deadly attack a strange silver glow emanated from around Kura. Then came the explosion from Haruka's attack. The smoke cleared and Kura was gone. "NO!" Mako screamed and burst into tears. |
