Otati, Blue Velvet, Rehani mix
|
||
The Rehani, Blue velvet,Otati groups have gone through the entire gamut of mixing because they were the first groups to be introduced to the West as Swifts with general resemblance. The blunt features and the color is from an Otati. The loose look is from a Velvet or Rehani. | The expression of an Otati is evident in an almost full and rounder forehead. The bird is closer to a blue velvet than an Otati in the color, but not in stance. It appears to be gaining a half from each side. Unlike the picture on the right where mixing has gone for several generation. | The color of the eyes in all the above three pictures is typical
of a Rehani and Blue velvet groups. Body color has a trace of Yellow Rehani.
The beak color is black. Blue velvet and one generation of recessive Reds
might be in the pool.. Non of the presented birds is worth introducing back to a pure bird. |
