An overview of King Tut Lofts, showing landing birds. The lower after the birds were fed and watered, showing three of four lofts. The flying loft is located behind the Palms, which have been removed lately. The flying loft is divided into three compartments, each could hold up to thirty male birds. Other separate lofts are breeding, males and females.
I have stopped flying the birds at night due mainly to the persistent attacks of the Cooper Hawk. Strong flying birds or those which could stay on the wing for at least four hours fare well against the Hawk during the day time.
Daily flying could be substituted for short tosses of up to 20 to 25 miles.
