A standard picture highlighted by a broad compacted beak, long side cheeks and a fully developed neck. The direction in Egypt in the show birds is in extreme short beaks and wider eyes. A challenge only surpassed by the Safis.
Below a strong female that was repeatedly flown from various distances in San Diego. |

A four months Bondoc on the right showing a stout and short beak setting. Long and even cheeks. The bird is considered short even at a three months. I allow few short birds as long as they have near perfect face setting and good flying ability. Short birds could be easily corrected. Odd and missed facial setting are near impossible to rectify. You must consider a variety of birds and gene pool in order to get a show winner and an adequate flying power.
Below a different pair of my breading Bondoc. This long pair (30 to 32 cm- over 12 inches) will produce long birds to mated with a short one.
