The Egyptian Absy & Halaby
Standard sketch for Absy Masry

On the Top in magneni (Red and black) is the Egyptian Absy (Absy Masry).
In Red is the Egyptian Halaby (Halaby Masry). These two groups are becoming less common in the ES loft. They are distinguished by their short and blunt beaks.
These two groups are different from the common Absy and Halaby Shamy as referred to in Egypt.
Shamy groups are found in abundance in Egypt; however show narrow beaks as those in Rollers. The Shamy group also include a blue bird with white tail that is common in Egypt and called Karakandy.
Masry groups is not present in the West. The Shamy groups and Karakandy were all imported By Ahmed Hassan in the eighties and spread around in the USA.
