This was an online class. We learned about all the technology used in the library, from computer terminals to journal databases. It was good to learn about all this, and since I have the technology background, it wasn't too hard. ILS Assignment-This assignment was about choosing an ILS (Integrated Library System) for the library type of your choice. E-Journal Assignment-This assignment was a paper telling your Library Director what Journal Finder is, it's advantages, and if it was worth the money. Database Assignment-In this assignment we had to look at the databases and database access at UNCG's library and suggest and improvments we thought would help. Digital Reference Assignement-In this assignemnt we looked picked two different digital reference products and reviewed and compared them. Library Technology Plan-This was the big project for the course. We took everything we learned and made a comprehensive plan for the technological needs of the library for the next 3 years.
