Review: This was a fairly good but by no means great episode of King of the Hill, my main problem with it was that the central message - that the government should not control what we do or don't eat - was rammed home a little too hard and obviously - subtletly really did go out of the window here. The other problem with it is that I found the first half of the episode to be oddly weak, there was a lot of plot but not that much to laugh about, with only the occasional moment which'll make you smile. Fortunately the second half of the episode improved massively, with the episode hitting it's stride - Peggy getting aroused by Hank's lawbreaking, Bill's "government approved diet making him fatter than ever, and Hank's dream about Tom Landry, Abe Lincoln and George Washington fighting the Nazi's in World War 2 whilst giving Hank advice about what he should be doing being the highlights. All of the loose ends were tied up by the end in a really satisfying way, and this could have been one of the series strongest episodes yet if it hadn't been for the annoyingly average first half. 7/10 Related Pages: Season 12, Episode 10: Doggone Crazy.
