Christopher and Tarra met at a friend's house, on a dark stormy night, on August 2, 1986. That was after a day at Sterling Forest Rennaissance Faire, the day Christopher first met FALO. On May 10, 1987 we started a relationship that lead to a marriage proposal in late June. On February 27, 1988, we were married in New Milford, CT. Almost three years later, and after almost three days of labor, Holly Erin Regan, our first and last child, was born by C-section at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. We have now been married for over 16 years and Holly is about to finish the 7th Grade. Tarra works in Nuclear Medicine and Christopher is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. We have been living at the house below, which we own (along with the bank), for four years and share our home with 3 dogs, 5 birds, a ferret, 2 rats, 2 kittens and 2 and 2 cats. |

We pretty much like anything fantasy oriented. We love to watch Medieval, adventure and fantasy films. The Princess Bride, Willow, Robin Hood, Braveheart, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Carribean, The Lord of the Rings movies and The Three Musketeers are good examples, as are just about any of the Disney films. We are also fans of Superhero movies, such as the Batman films, X-Men, Dare Devil, Spiderman and the like. Gothic Horror, vampire and werewolf movies are also a treasure. We are members of the Lord of the Rings fan club, which means you will see our names in the credits of all three extended release DVD's!
We like Renaissance Faires and being involved in FALO. We enjoy role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, Deadlands, Changeling the Dreaming, and Vampire: the Masquerade. Christopher has created a web site dedicated to role playing games, and has created environments for both Changeling and Dungeons and Dragons. Having played D&D since the late 70's, he now runs a 3rd edition game on Friday nights on line with 9 players and another amongst friends in standard form when time can be found. We have also been known to play or collect Magic the Gathering, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pokemon and other Collectible Trading Card Games, including the newest Neopets Card, and we both play Magic the Gathering Online. While we have mostly phased this out of our lives, we have had Magic the Gathering "Parties" - mini-tourneys and such, which we call Pendelhaven events. You can see more about Pendelhaven here, including a picture of the Magic Card that Christopher posed for.
The entire family is into Neopets, a free and amusing site, supported by sponsors, that holds a myriad assortment of games and adventures to play while caring for virtual pets based on exotic fantastical creatures. Click on the "Eyrie" below to check them out.
We also like to watch TV. The programs we currently try to watch are Smallville, Friends, NYPD Blue, Whoopi, Happy Family, Scrubs, Frazier and ER. We were both very saddened by the conclusion of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and will miss that show tremendously, just as we will Friends and Frazier as they come to an end.

We all enjoy reading very much. Holly has been reading since long before she started Kindergarten and she has earned awards in a program called "Books and Beyond". The entire family is into the Harry Potter series, and we all eagerly await the 6th book to be finished.
Christopher and Tarra enjoy reading mostly fantasy and horror, with an occasional classic thrown in. From Tolkien and Eddings to Stephen King and Anne Rice. Christopher's latest love in literature is Historical fiction, especially those surrounding legends like King Arthur and Robin Hood and those that are based on Celtic and Native American History. Tarra reads a lot of Stephen King and recently went through several of his books.
Cars!
Between 2001 and 2004, both of our cars have been replaced. Between the Dodge Neon dying and the terribel lease hassles with the Toyota Sienna, we are once again carrying two car loans. Christopher got what he always wanted, a green vehicle with a CD player, which happens to be a 2001 Kia Sportage. While I would never recommend our Kia dealership to anyone, the little jeepy thing is not a bad car, (despite the numerous repairs over the past 2 years) and the 4 wheel drive is helpful too. Tarra got her dream car: A 2001 red Ford Mustang! Tarra treats the car like her baby and has already washed it more times than all of our other cars combined. While we never cared much for Ford, the car and Dealership both turned out to be great. The bonus for Tarra is that Christopher won't drive the Mustang, since he keeps cracking his skull getting into it and it beeps for 10 minutes about his safety belt! And in case it wasn't emphasized enough:
Don't buy from Crabtree Motors in Shelton!
There is just too much pet info for this page, so here is the link if you want to see our zoo!
{I wouldn't be holding your breath awaiting Tarra's and Holly's links becoming active, although Tarra recently got her own web site and has been learning HTML, she is not ready to unveil it}
